Description
Saturday October 25 – 1pm – 3pm
Discover the art of photography using the camera you always have with you—your phone. This workshop will introduce the fundamentals of photography and composition, with a focus on accessible techniques for everyday use. Weather permitting, we will explore the gallery grounds, seeking inspiration in the natural environment and experimenting with ways to frame and capture compelling images. Participants will learn tips for holding and positioning their phone to achieve different effects and explore how simple adjustments—like changing your perspective or moving closer—can dramatically improve a photo.
Back in the gallery, we’ll experiment with still life photography and explore creative approaches to capturing everyday subjects. To conclude, the workshop will include a demonstration of editing techniques using the Snapseed app, with practical ideas to help transform your photos into striking images.
Cost: $60 per person
