About Your Facilitators

Laurie Rutenberg :  Yoga Teacher and Instructor RTY200 :  Her classes are a gentle invitation to slow down, to listen, and to reconnect. Through Hatha, Yin, and Restorative practices, we explore breath, awareness, and intention—creating space for healing, balance, and quiet peace to emerge. She currently teaches at  Movati Athletic  and to private customers

Lis Lobo (aka SensoryLis):  visual artist, art instructor and economist. Her work investigates the deep relationship between artistic expression and contemplative practice, treating the creative process as a form of active meditation. As the creator of the MIND+ART method, she blends mindfulness principles with expressive art to help individuals access presence, intuition, and emotional clarity through their own creative flow. Her practice is rooted in the belief that mindfulness expands creative potential, and her workshops invite participants to explore how meditation and awareness can transform the way they see, feel, and create.

Sophia Luzardo: Sophia obtained her bachelor’s degree of Psychology from the University of Guelph and is currently a MSc Applied Neuroscience candidate at the University of King’s College London -UK.  She is a health and wellbeing advocate and is particularly interested in the field of psychoneuroimmunology.

Daneila Morgado: Registered Dietitian with over 20 years of experience helping people care for their health through nutrition with confidence and compassion. She currently works with the Halton Diabetes Program, where she supports individuals in creating realistic, sustainable habits for better health and blood sugar management. Daniela believes that healthy eating is about so much more than nutrients, calories, or strict rules. It’s about making peace with food, rebuilding trust with your body, and learning to enjoy eating without guilt or stress.  She encourages mindful eating to slow down, reconnect with your body, and better understand your hunger, fullness, and satisfaction.
