Gel Printing Workshop with Daniela Easter
Tuesday, July 21 | 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm
$60/per person. All materials provided.

This engaging printmaking class introduces students to the world of gel plate printing, offering an
experience in both process art and product art. Students will explore the unique qualities of gel plate
printing, experimenting with texture tools, stencils and acrylic paint to create multi-layered prints. A
special feature will be the opportunity to create ‘landscape’ or ‘seascape’ prints. This lesson plan
provides a fun and rewarding artistic experience for students of all skill levels.

About your instructor: 
Daniela Easter is a self-taught, award-winning artist and published illustrator from Brampton.
She is a multimedia artist who has worked extensively in drawing, painting, and printmaking.
Her works are in collections in Canada, the United States, Venezuela, and Nigeria. Daniela
received certification as a professional artist-educator through The Royal Conservatory’s
Learning Through the Arts program, funded by the Ontario Arts Council. This initiative prepares
select professional artists to share their art with schools and community organizations locally,
nationally, and internationally to promote learning through the arts. For more than 25 years,
Daniela has provided arts enrichment classes through her signature art programs at the BeauxArts Brampton Gallery, in Peel schools, community organizations such as Visual Arts Brampton,
corporate organizations such as Canon Canada and afterschool PLASP programs across the GTA.
Bilingual in Spanish and English, she has instructed online students from as far as Ecuador and
Mexico.
